The Caerphilly Municipal Club is one of the oldest Clubs in the Caerphilly area. Known locally as “The Muni”, we overlook the town’s famous medieval castle with fantastic views from our upper floor window. We occupy the old “Boars Head Hotel” which is one of the oldest surviving public houses in Caerphilly Town. Here you will find additional details about the Club and our facilities. Content is being added and updated regularly so please keep checking back with us.
We openly welcome approaches from travelling clubs who are visiting the area, or just passing through. Please give us a call if you’d like to visit the club as part of a day trip or excursion. We would be more than happy to have you here.
The Committee
The Management Committee is a group of individuals elected by the club members to oversee the overall running of the club. The Club has a Chairman, Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Secretary who are supported by 11 other Committee Members. If you have any concerns whilst at the club, please feel free to approach a member of the Management Committee who will be more than happy to help you.
Membership
The Club accepts new members at various intervals throughout the year. To become a member, you will need to be proposed and seconded by current club members. You will then be asked to pay an initial joining fee, and an anual subscription. Failure to pay the annual subscription will result in the club revoking your membership status.
